About Women TechEU
Women TechEU is committed to fostering a more gender-balanced entrepreneurship ecosystem by empowering women at the forefront of deep tech innovation. Diversity fuels innovation, and Women TechEU aims to provide more opportunities, resources, and support to female founders in deep tech, encouraging them to thrive in today’s competitive market. The project will launch four open calls for applications, and through a rigorous evaluation process, will support a total of 160 outstanding beneficiaries.
Women TechEU is a two-year initiative funded by the European Union, dedicated to empowering women who lead deep tech startups across Europe. By fostering a more gender-balanced entrepreneurial landscape, Women TechEU aims to harness diversity as a driver of innovation. Through this project, women in deep tech gain enhanced access to essential resources, opportunities, and support networks needed for success.
The consortium will release four application calls within the project’s two-year timeline, meticulously evaluating submissions to select 160 beneficiaries in total. Each selected startup will receive a €75,000 non-dilutive grant, along with a tailored business development program that includes mentoring, coaching, and specialized training to catalyze growth and success.
